Title: Optimization for Systems with Non-volatile Memory

Abstract: Memory is one of the most important subsystems that need optimization since memory significantly affects the system performance, occupies large die area, and consumes a large portion of system energy. Considering multiple-level memory architectures with non-volatile memories (NVM), this talk presents our research in these few years -- optimization techniques, including task scheduling, write reduction, and data allocation, wear leveling, and our recently developed extremely fast In-Memory File System.
